Last year’s goal to read more and watch less worked wonders. It’s my list of best books that makes me most excited.

Genuine, humble, true to her roots and preternaturally talented, Lily Gladstone seems perfect for this historic moment in the spotlight.

My favorites this year seem to include fewer hidden gems or wildcards compared to more mainstream roundups. I’ll work on that.

It’s not like one needs a shout-out from The New York Times for validation, but it sure doesn’t hurt.
